SÍTIO ÁGUAS FINAS

Propriedade em que o patriarca José Castelo Uchôa iniciou a produção de café de sombra ainda em 1939, e que passou a integrar a Rota Verde do Café do Ceará em 2015. A trilha do Sítio Águas Finas é um passeio cultural no qual o visitante irá ziguezaguear entre os antigos cafezais, à sombra das ingazeiras, além de conhecer as variedades orgânicas do café arábica. Durante a visita, é possível conhecer a história do café no mundo e na região do Maciço de Baturité, compreender o processo de cultivo, colheita e secagem dos grãos, percorrer áreas preservadas de mata nativa onde se podem observar pássaros raros e uma enorme “Barriguda” (Ceiba glaziovii), árvore secular da flora nordestina.

The trail of Sítio Águas Finas is a cultural tour in which the visitor will zigzag among the old coffee plantations, in the shade of the ingazeiras, in addition to discovering the organic varieties of Arabica coffee. During the visit, it is possible to learn about the history of coffee in the world and in the Maciço de Baturité region, understand the process of cultivation, harvest and drying of the beans, walk through preserved areas of native forest where you can observe rare birds and a huge “Barriguda” (Ceiba glaziovii), secular tree of the northeast flora.
